On behalf of TTRA Europe we would like to welcome you to the Doctoral Colloquium Day (27.04.2019) at the University of Innsbruck! We are looking forward to welcoming you to discuss your research on sustainable development and policy, issues of responsibility in management and practice, or on entrepreneurship, social enterprise or innovation. However, any aspect of tourism development, management and marketing/consumer behaviour are also welcomed. Doctoral research is crucial to the tourism industry, to shape tourism policy in the future and is important for society. We held a very successful doctoral session in Angers in 2017 and Ljubljana in 2018, which was highly valued by those attending, providing important networking opportunities and a warm and collegial atmosphere.
We have developed a stimulating and inclusive programme that will create the space for researchers to gain valuable feedback on their research projects within an environment of supportive and constructive dialogue. Working towards a PhD is one of the most intensive and rewarding learning experiences, but it can also be challenging and frustrating. We hope that you will find the TTRA Doctoral Day an
opportunity to share experiences with people who understand your values, expectations and challenges, and to learn from them and expand your network, prior to enjoying the full conference programme. We hope that you will join us in this exciting event!
Doctoral Seminar Co-chairs:
